What it is
Hair transplant scars, particularly the linear FUT (strip) scar at the back of the head, are a common reason clients come to us. FUE scars, while smaller, can also be visible when the hair is cut short. SMP breaks up the visual line of these scars by creating the appearance of natural follicle density across and around the scar tissue.
How we approach it
Scar work is the most technically demanding type of SMP and requires extensive experience. Jackson assesses the scar texture, tone and surrounding hair pattern, then builds pigmentation that integrates seamlessly with the natural follicles. Most scars require 2 to 3 sessions; some require additional sessions for full concealment.
Who it is for
- FUT (strip) hair transplant scars
- FUE hair transplant scars
- Burn scars on the scalp
- Trauma or surgery scars
- Anyone who wants the freedom to wear their hair shorter without scar visibility
The process
Every treatment begins with a free consultation where Jackson assesses your situation and outlines a personalised plan. Treatment then runs over multiple sessions spaced 7 to 14 days apart. Results are visible immediately after the first session and develop further with each follow-up. There is no downtime, no recovery period, and no need to take time off work.
